ARISE & BUILD

So they said, "Let us rise up and build." Then they set their hands to this good work.

- Nehemiah 2:18

THE WHAT

A PLACE OF OUR OWN

We are believing God for a permanent home for Deep Rooted Church—a place we can own, steward, and establish for generations to come.

For years, we have gathered wherever God opened a door. We’ve rented buildings, borrowed spaces, renovated rooms, set up, torn down, and watched God faithfully meet us every step of the way. But we believe the next chapter is different.

We believe it is time to own.

Our current goal is to raise approximately $65,000 for the down payment and closing costs needed to purchase a church property in our area.

Rather than waiting until we can purchase a building entirely with cash, we discovered that reaching this first $65,000 milestone could put us in position to acquire a property much sooner. A property in the range we are pursuing could require roughly a 10% down payment, allowing every dollar given today to move us significantly closer to having a permanent home.

We are also intentionally looking for a property that makes financial sense—not simply a building we can occupy, but an asset we can steward wisely. The property we are currently believing toward includes a residence that could potentially generate income and help offset the church’s monthly mortgage expense.

This isn't simply about purchasing real estate. It's about putting down roots.

THE WHY

WE WILL MOVE NO MORE

For years, Deep Rooted Church has invested into places that did not belong to us. We have painted walls, renovated rooms, made repairs, purchased equipment, improved facilities, and poured resources into creating spaces where people could encounter God. We don't regret what we have sown. God used those places, and He accomplished incredible things in them.

But we have also learned the limitations of building in someone else's house. When you rent, there is always uncertainty. A property can be sold. A lease can end. Circumstances can change. And resources used to improve a rented facility ultimately increase the value of something someone else owns. We believe God is calling us to steward differently in this next season. Instead of continually investing in temporary spaces, we want to build something that remains.

God told David concerning Israel:

“Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more.”
— 2 Samuel 7:10

Those words have become part of the vision we are holding before God:

A PLACE OF THEIR OWN. MOVE NO MORE.

We believe there is a place for Deep Rooted Church where we can be planted—where decisions about the future of the ministry are no longer dependent upon a landlord, a lease, or someone else's plans for a property. And we know what God can do when His people have a place to gather.

In rented and borrowed buildings, we have hosted four Spirit Wind Conferences. We have watched people healed. We have seen deliverance, salvation, baptism, marriages celebrated, families strengthened, and lives transformed through the preaching of the Word of God.

Imagine what can be built when the place itself is ours to steward.

We aren't pursuing a building simply so Deep Rooted Church can have an address. We are believing for a house dedicated to the work of God—a place where the Word can be preached, people can encounter Jesus, families can grow, leaders can be equipped, and ministry can reach throughout Tulare County and the surrounding region.

Right now, we are gathering in a temporary location and intentionally saving toward that future. We are grateful for where God has us. But we don't believe temporary is where He's leaving us.

THE NEED

$65,000 STANDS BETWEEN WHERE WE ARE AND OUR NEXT STEP

Our immediate goal is simple:

RAISE $65,000

That amount would position us for approximately a 10% down payment and closing costs on the kind of property we are pursuing.

And while $65,000 may sound like a large number, it becomes surprisingly achievable when God's people move together.

13 people giving $5,000 = $65,000
26 people giving $2,500 = $65,000
65 people giving $1,000 = $65,000
130 people giving $500 = $65,000

Or it may be hundreds of people giving different amounts as God puts it on their hearts. No single person has to carry the vision for everyone to help carry the vision. At our current rate of saving and giving, we believe we could eventually reach this goal on our own. But opportunities don't always wait for us to catch up. We don't want the right property to become available while we're still a year away from being ready.

Our ultimate vision is bigger than a down payment. We believe for debt freedom and would love to see God provide the entire cost of a property. But our first milestone is $65,000 because that gets our foot in the door. It moves the vision from something we're preparing for to something we're positioned to act on. We believe God provides for what He calls His people to do. And throughout Scripture, He so often does it through people. Some will pray. Some will give $100. Some will give $1,000. Some may have the ability to give $5,000, $10,000, or more.

Together, we can put Deep Rooted Church in a place of its own—and move no more.

WAYS TO BE A PARTNER

HELP US PUT DOWN ROOTS

You don't have to attend Deep Rooted Church to become part of what God is building here. If you believe in seeing churches established, the Word of God preached, people healed and restored, families strengthened, and the Gospel continue to impact Tulare County, we invite you to stand with us. There are two primary ways you can partner with us:

PRAY WITH US

Believe with us for wisdom, favor, provision, and the right property. We're not simply asking God for a building. We want the right building—the right location, the right financial opportunity, and a property that can serve the ministry for years to come. Pray that doors that need to open will open, doors that need to close will close, and that when the opportunity comes, we will recognize it and be ready to move.

GIVE WITH US

Every gift to the Building Fund moves us closer to our $65,000 milestone. Whether God puts $50, $500, $5,000, or another amount on your heart, your gift becomes part of something much larger than a building. You're helping create a permanent place for ministry. A place where the Word will be preached. A place where people will be healed. A place where families will worship together. A place where people will be baptized. A place where leaders will be equipped. A place where future generations can encounter God.

We're not asking everyone to give the same amount. We're asking everyone to ask God what their part is.

ONLINE GIVING

Please select: "Building Fund" if you wish to give towards our building project. All other designated gifts will go to the general operations of the ministry.
